LittleStorm Dress Ups

Help LittleStorm get dressed for the four seasons and learn what the clothes are called in Danish, English and German.

1-4 players
For ages 2½ and up
Playing time: approx. 10-15 min.

The aim of the game
The game aims to enable children to start learning how to play games while having fun together. The game also stimulates children’s object recognition ability and understanding of concepts and not least their understanding of languages.

Setting up the game
Each player drags a season board over to the side of the screen closest to where they are sitting. Click on the “Start” button when you have selected your boards. The clothes cards will then be spread out on the game board with the picture side facing down.

The game
The player with the flashing season board starts by clicking on one of the cards on the game board so that it turns over (e.g. boots). If the card matches one of the images on the season board (e.g. if there are boots on the player’s season board), the player drags the card over to the area of their board containing the relevant image (e.g. the boots). The player then clicks on a new card. If the clothes card does not match any of the clothes images on the player’s season board, the player clicks on the “Next player’s turn” button on the middle of the screen, and the next player takes his turn. If a player picks a “LittleStorm gets dressed” card, the player cannot place it at the end of their season board until they have managed to place the 4 clothes cards matching their season board. If the “LittleStorm gets dressed” card cannot be placed on the season board, the player clicks on the “Next player’s turn” button on the middle of the screen, and the next player takes their turn.

Who wins?
The player who places their 4 clothes cards and “LittleStorm gets dressed” card on their season board first wins the game.
The game continues until the last player has placed the last matching card on their season board. You are then ready to have another go at playing this fun game.

LittleStorm Dress Ups – a language stimulation dialogue game
LittleStorm in the Wardrobe is a dialogue game that strengthens the child’s vocabulary and ability to learn concepts.

The game gives the child the opportunity to have a dialogue about what kinds of clothes to wear for the different seasons. LittleStorm Dress Ups gives the child the opportunity to have the words corresponding to the turned-over cards read out in Danish, German and English.
